Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA

Cheryl has been involved with special education in a variety of settings since her son was born with brain damage in 1984. For the last 17 years she’s worked with young children with special needs. She first earned a credential and MA degree in early childhood special education and worked in school districts as a teacher in a Special Needs Infant program and later in Special Education Preschool classes. Since 2007, she has worked with Early Start clients through Inland Regional Center as a specialist and program director. In 2012 she earned certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has since specialized in working with clients with intensive behavior needs. She is currently a consultant for the Early Intensive Intervention Program at Bright Horizons Developmental Services, Inc. She also started a small non-profit program to provide recreational experiences for people with special needs.
Cheryl’s first priority is spending her free time with her family, which includes her husband, 3 children, son-in-law and 2 grand-daughters. She enjoys many outdoor activities, including running, cycling, and hiking.
